Volunteer With Us: Visuals Operator

Visuals operators run the lyrics, readings, liturgy and other visuals for the 11am and 6pm services and other special occasions/services, using services set up in advance for them on Proclaim software. The role is not overly technical, and full training is provided.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Starting up the visuals laptop, software and screens before the service.

• Loading and reviewing the service and working with the worship team, service leader and speakers as necessary to clarify how the various service elements will be run.

• Rolling the notices before the service.

• Working through the service in Proclaim as it progresses, projecting the required visuals.

• Closing down software, laptop and screens after the service.

We ask operators to offer their time once or twice a month, and to arrive 30-minutes before the service starts to allow setup and coordination. Support is primarily from the visuals team leader.
