Beth has been Associate Vicar at All Saints Ecclesall since February 2019 and is responsible for overseeing our extensive small group ministry including Alpha and nurture groups. This is alongside overseeing welcoming and our internship programme. She is also developing ministry among women and encouraging the prayer life of the church family.

Beth’s background is in youth ministry, having planted a number of churches with young people in Kenilworth and in Zambia. She also worked for Sheffield Futures, specialising in sexual health work with young disabled people, and then managing the North West Sheffield Regeneration Partnership, connecting services, local government, community and religious groups, business, and local people.

From 2009-13 she worked for Church Army and the national Fresh Expression team, researching fresh expressions of church and setting up learning communities of pioneers. In 2013 she began training for ordained pioneer ministry at Cranmer Hall, Durham, and completed doctoral studies on the place of mission and evangelism within ordained vocation before serving her curacy at Sheffield Cathedral. From 2014-2018 she was a member of the Archbishops’ Renewal and Reform groups; the Evangelism Task Group.
